Sometimes being younger sister is not that easy. Maya struggled that Anna does not “approve” or like the same things as she does.
Maya: why Anna doesn’t like my little pony or frozen?
I talked to Anna about trying more foods and how she needs energy and food to grow. I said if she doesn’t eat, she won’t grow… Her bones and brain need food to grow and develop.
After some time…
– Mama, I’m afraid to go to sleep. I’m afraid of skinny brain.
Driving in the evening to grandma house… It’s snowing hard
Anna: are we going to Babcia or nowhere?
Iza hit her elbow against a frame going into a room- Ouch!
Maya: Door says “Przepraszam” (I’m sorry)
Anna: when you were my age did you have normal clothes or like Pilgrims?
Did you use candles for light?
Today, Anna let go of some of her toys… We moved her Barbie house to their play area in the basement. She also took some toys and donated for other kids.
This is a kid that had a fit when we changed something (anything) in her room. I think that means she’s growing up… bitter sweet.
While I was cleaning I found a lot of Anna’s toys in Maya’s room….
She’s been quietly and systematically bringing Anna’s toys into her room…
I asked Maya to bring dog’s chewing stick for Mazzie. She chose to bring a whole bag, so I asked her to give Mazzie one stick and take the bag back…
Well, taking the bag back was too much… She kept repeating in a very whiny voice how her feet hurt and how her hands hurt and how the bag is just too heavy….
Maya wanted to help unload a dishwasher- okay, great!
After taking few utensils out, she declared that she’s too tired to continue and needs to lie down.
